The second edition of Design Fabric's new print magazine brings together a curated selection of stories we've produced and published in 2018 so far, in our attempt to document India’s pioneering efforts in the contemporary arts and design landscape in India and South Asia. With all that is happening in the burgeoning art world around us, Design Fabric is the go-to publication that captures and archives these goings-on for future generations. It is a space to read about the country’s creative scene and understand individual processes through immersive interviews, meaningful collaborations and editorials.
The featured stories are rich in their narrative and make for compelling storytelling using visual arts and design to talk about themes like Gender, Environment, Memory and Music. It also contains original collaborations across various mediums to celebrate Inclusivity, Conservation, Love and Creative Expression.
From exclusive interviews with artists like Sameer Kulavoor and Ronny Sen, creating a safe space for India's drag kings and queens to share their stories to finding our roots in works created by the Indian diaspora with artists like Prince V. Thomas and Nishant Choksi, we present a fresh take on contemporary Indian art.
